Assessment and Testing

Paoli Psychological Associates’ services include comprehensive, quality psychological evaluations and testing for several needs and purposes. Psychoeducational Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations to assess impediments to successful achievement in school (elementary though college and graduate school). A thorough evaluation can help develop an accurate understanding of a learner, including strengths and weaknesses, which helps with planning supports and accommodations when needed. Psychoeducational evaluations include testing in the areas of intellectual and cognitive abilities, academic skills (reading, math, writing), attention, behavior and social/emotional well-being.
ADHD Assessments
Thorough evaluations to diagnose whether a child or adult may have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (with or without hyperactivity). Our ADHD evaluations utilize specific ADHD tests as well as other data-gathering methods and include a full description of follow-up steps that can lead to improvement academically, in work performance, relationships, and other areas of life.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments

Diagnostic Mental Health Evaluations

Gifted IQ Evaluation
Understanding a child’s intellectual abilities can help with ensuring the best educational placement and environment for that child. A gifted evaluation involves intellectual ability testing, which provides information about a child’s overall learning ability and patterns of strengths and weaknesses. A test of intellectual ability (IQ) including 10 or more subtests is utilized for these assessments, providing useful information about a child as a learner.
Intellectual Disability Testing
The purpose of intellectual disability testing is to assess and identify limitations in intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior. This helps in diagnosing intellectual disability and determining the level of support needed for individuals to function in daily life. Career Assessment
